Family Road Trip 2010 - Part III

One fun thing about our trip was that my sister and her family were driving out west at the same time too. So, we were able to spend time at my brothers house all together.

The kids had fun having races in the back yard, and watching my brother's chickens.

One of my friends (who was also a college roommate), Cheryl, came to visit while I was at my brothers. And, this is what a good friend I am; I posted the picture she liked of herself, over the one that I look better in. Cheryl, you're welcome.

Right after Cheryl left, we drove to see some of John's family for a very short visit. More like a quick hello and goodbye, and then we drove to go see our friends, the Wickstroms! And right before the exit we get in a car accident!!

UGH!!! So somebody hit somebody, and then they hit us. It was so fun. (I wish there were a sarcasm font...) We got a rental van, and left our van in Utah to get repaired while we finished the rest of our vacation. The kids also slept through the accident, thankfully everyone was okay.

We did end up being able to spend some time with the Wickstroms that evening, and the only pictures taken were of the kids in their dog, Hazel's cage. (I always know which pictures John takes, because they always look like this...) The kids loved Hazel. We also ordered take out from our favorite Indian restaurant. We've had a lot of Indian food in our day, and The Bombay House is still the best!

The next day, we went to Heritage park with my brother and sister and their families. It was a fun day with everyone.

Honey, it's a tight squeeze...

Jonah was perfect as always.

It kept raining off and on, but that didn't dampen our spirits!

Trevan and Mallary rode some horses.

The whole bunch at This is the Place monument.

We went to Red Robin for dinner, and it was nice because they gave us our own banquet room, so we could eat without worrying about our kids bothering other guests. You never know what's going to happen when you go out to eat with that many kids, but they were great!!

After that, we went to the Days of 47 rodeo. Fun!
And, this is what Jonah did at the rodeo. He's so good...

The next day, we packed up our rental van and headed to Idaho.
