Labor Day Trip 2011

We went to visit John's brother and his family. They were blessing their new baby too, so we thought we'd make the trip to see them!! Mary, John's sister met us there as well.

We headed to the beach one day, and Mary treated us all to Lobster Rolls, and Lobster Bisque, SO VERY YUMMY!!

The kids eating sandwhiches - why spend $$ on Lobster for kids????  :)

I could have guzzled this bisque!

The new baby!!

Cousins

I love Mallary holding Trevan on her lap!

The water was way too cold for me to get in!!  I'm a wimp! No Connecticut beaches for me!

Jonah trying to get through the wall.  He kept taking the toys that belonged to the people next to us, and it was upsetting their kids.  John was trying to block the way.

He's like, I can get around daddy!

He was frozen!

I made her little headband.

Trevan liked his new little cousin!

So did Mallary.

It was such a fun trip to visit them!!

Beach Trip - August 2011

We went away for the weekend and reserved a room through Priceline (which I had never done before) and show up and it is a smoking room!  They were completely booked even though I had requested a no smoking room, I guess with Priceline you have to call and request it still.

John went and bought some Lysol and we soaked down the room with it!! (cough, cough... ick!)

We managed to have fun still!

I'm no photographer, but that night I tried to get some pictures of the kids.  I think I'll do a whole post on the funny pictures I got...  These two were the best:

The next day while I met with the owner of a store that sells some of my products, John spent the morning in the pool with the kids, then when I was finished we had a little snack before heading to the beach.

Miss independent putting on her own sunblock!

While Jonah napped, I rode some waves!

Trevan fighting the water

We love the beach!!! It's always so sad to leave after stuffing ourselves at a seafood buffet of course!
