Tip #1: Go on a 4,500 mile (and more) road trip with three children.
Tip #2: Get in a car accident on said road trip.
Tip #3: Deal with a 2 year old that can take off part of her seat belt.
Tip #4: Deal with a 2 year old demanding to watch Shrek every hour. (How fitting, my 2 year old just came to me demanding to watch Shrek right at this very moment.)
Tip #5: Stop to nurse a three month old every three or four hours. (Except when we drove through the night.)
Tip #6: Deal with two children wanting to get into everything when you stop to nurse your three month old.
Tip #7: Clean up many spills and thrown food in your van and in a rental van.
Tip #8: Listen to your children pick on each other mercilessly while in the van.
Tip #9: Listen to the screaming and squealing that goes along with the picking on each other.
Tip #10: May I suggest flying for your next trip?

We were just talking on our road trip last week how miserable it would be to go across the country on one, and wondering how long it would take. From your post, it sounds like NO FUN! :( Going through a couple of states--not bad at all.
Joidee it was still fun, just a little annoying at times... :)
So good to see you though... Made me sad we can't play more... If only I worked for an airline... PARTY (it's me cheryl, I just didn't want to sign in...)
