I'm sure you've heard about how being a mother eliminates your brain cells... well, I'm here to tell you it's true.
When I took Jonah to his one week check up, I go to check in, and the receptionist says, "Name?"
I totally drew a blank.
I looked from her, to my sweet baby in his carseat, and then looked back at her, drawing a blank.
I could not, for the life of me, think of what my baby's name was!
"Ummm... name... I'm sorry, I can't seem to remember what it is!" I could feel me blushing.
The receptionist and nurse laughed as I said, "I really can't remember his name!"
I looked at my baby hoping his name would come to me.
"Is it Noah?" I thought to myself. "No, that's not right."
I seriously looked to the receptionist, to my baby, and to the ceiling as if someone could give me a hint.
Two minutes later it came to me.
"Jonah. His name is Jonah."
