Our first full day in Hawaii, we woke up at 4am. We did a workout off of Fit TV (except Marianne who currently has the body of an old lady and is undergoing physical therapy, and can't work out, so she stretched). We showered, got ready, and hit the road. Marianne drove us around the whole island. I think it took four hours or something like that.
Due to Marianne being claustrophobic, and Candi getting carsick I had a reserved spot in the back seat. It was so nice I didn't have to look at a map once on this trip. I was literally just along for the ride.
The first overlook we stopped at. Actually, the only one that whole day, it was just a drive-by introduction to Oahu.
We didn't try the Shave Ice (not to be confused with ShavED Ice) until later the next week, but it wasn't really anything exciting. There is a shaved ice place in Texas that is so much better, but I can't think of the name (sister-in-laws what is that place called?).

We picked up dad at the airport that evening.
