A pregnant woman's predicament

I've only been pregnant through the summer and never had to worry about wearing dresses in the winter showing off my pasty white legs. (Even though they are still white in the summer, they aren't quite as pasty...)

A few weeks ago, I tried wearing regular panty hose to church just to have them roll down and get bunched up way under my belly.

So, my pregnant woman's options at Target were to buy thigh highs for $8.00, or maternity panty hose for $18.00. I'm not one to pay $18 for panty hose, so I went with the $8.00 option.

This morning putting on my thigh highs, FOR THE FIRST TIME, what happens? I rip a hole in them... A little fingernail polish and no problem - it was on my thigh. (SIDE STORY: As I was putting them on, Mallary was watching and said, "pretty socks," and came and rubbed my leg to feel them. It was funny.)

I look down at church and what do I see? TWO MORE rips on the top of my foot! What a waste of $8.00. CHEAP!

Next item on my agenda: Find some pregnant lady panty hose that will last more than one wear.

I have two pairs of maternity hose (black) if you want them. It was my splurge for the last baby! I just suffered with Marina wearing regular ones under my belly. I got them at Motherhood, and while they were pricey, I know I did not pay $18 for them. No runs.

Thanks Heather, but I'm afraid your size would probably be too small for me... I do need to go to motherhood.
