Last month, my dear friend Becky flew into D.C. to spend the special occasion of the opening of the movie, New Moon, with friends. I drove to D.C. to see her and join in the festivities. It's pretty pathetic that I went to see her and all I took pictures of were cupcakes:
They got cupcakes from three different bakeries to see which were best. My favorite was the lemon berry from Georgetown Cupcakes (bottom cupcake in the far right hand corner).
It was a nice little break for me, wonderful to see my friend, and spend time in the company of other fabulous women! Not only did I drive in, and Becky come in from Utah, another old college roommate flew in from Missouri, and someone else traveled in from New York. We had a fun ladies weekend of eating, slumber partying, shopping, talking, and watching New Moon twice. What a fun weekend!!
I was even mailed a souvenir after my trip was over to help remind me of the great weekend...

looks like a very fun weekend...minus the speeding ticket. we got something like that on a trip to NYC. :) kind of puts a little tarnish on the trip. but hopefully not a big one!
