Part of a day in the life of a pregnant woman...

I wake up in the morning, with whatever hip I'm laying on, hurting.

I use all the muscles in my body, aside from the ones that don't work right now (i.e. abs), to roll over and push myself to the sitting position on the side of the bed. Then I use some of those muscles again to push me to a standing position.

I use the bathroom. (After waddling there of course. I don't need to describe every step do I?)

Sometime, either before or after I pee, Trevan tells me my belly looks bigger today. (Really, almost every day he says that, and I guess, there may be a tad bit of truth to that on some days.)

I usually instant message a few friends during the day, this was a part of one of my chats yesterday:

Her: I feel lazy. (talking about working out)
Me: Me too.
Her: You're pregnant, it's okay.
Me: Have you seen me? It's not okay.
Her: You're all baby.
Me: Do people carry babies in their faces?
Her: Some people may think of it like this - your belly has expanded to it's full potential, so it needs to find somewhere else to go.

Yes, I copied down our conversation after she typed that yesterday, because it was too funny not to.

Last night, I got dressed to go to the gym. I even tied my own shoes. I spend about thirty minutes doing arms, and then I wanted to do some cardio, but EVERY tread mill was taken. My spin class days are over for now, but I hadn't tried one of those bikes where you sit in those seats that lean back a little. So, I gave it a try. Well, my belly could only take so much abuse from my thighs, and that lasted seven minutes. I then hung out in the locker room lounge watching CNN for ten minutes, and then went to meet my friend finishing spin class to drive home. They weren't quite done, and I went and sat on one of the bikes until they finished. After class, one lady who I hadn't seen in a while asked when I was due, and remembered I had a two year old. I told her I have a five year old too, and then she said, "Well, aren't you just being fruitful and multiplying?"

Well, yes. I guess I am - and, loving almost every minute of it! Not EVERY SINGLE minute, but quite a few of them...
