I was sitting at the table, watching John make some more whoopie pies as part of his requested superbowl food line up, and I figured it out.
I now know why I have gained ## amount of weight this pregnancy. Both of my other pregnancies were through the summer, and I delivered the beginning of October. This pregnancy started out with seafood buffets at the beach, and went through Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years, Superbowl, Valentine's Day, and will end after Easter. The only other major holiday I'll miss with this pregnancy is the Fourth of July!!! Hmmmmm?? What do all these holidays have in common? Lots of candy and lots of food!! Sure, I didn't have to partake in all of the yummy goodness, but I can't not celebrate the holidays! Not partaking in the goodies would be like me saying, "Bah Humbug" to holidays!
As I've just hit that pretty uncomfortable stage, like when I try to bend over to put boots on, or shave my legs, or when I feel constricted from my jeans being too tight around my middle, or as I feel my belly rest on my thighs, I just need to try and keep in mind all the yummy things that have helped me get to this uncomfortableness, and then I might not mind it so much...
I'll know that the end is near when I'm eating my Easter ham, and I'll probably have three helpings just to ensure that my baby will be 12 pounds. Then probably, after the baby is here, I might wish I hadn't eaten so many deviled eggs...
But, probably not. I really like deviled eggs.

I still thought you looked pretty great when I saw you. If you had a different attitude I wouldn't have learned how to make real fondue. So, cheers, here's to a big healthy beautiful baby.
Oh, you're so kind. But, seriously I am bigger now than when I saw you!!
