Marianne, Dad, and Candi walking in the rain and puddles.
Drying off at the luau.
It was funny, we were seated next to two couples from Utah (not traveling together), all members of the church, what are the odds? We ended up seeing them in other places other days too.
The hat kept my face dry. Good thing I bought it...
(This is a rare picture where my dad actually has a real smile on his face)
Taking the pig out of the oven.
The pig.
The food. The rolls were taro rolls. The beef jerky and the pig were my favorite!
Part of the luau entertainment. This guy could play a ukulele. The sound isn't that great.
The show after the luau. It was really, really great.
Now, they can shake it. This dance is the dance from Tahiti.
The second day we went back to the PCC, it rained again.
Dad is on fire! Training to be a fire knife dancer.
We watched the canoe parade in the rain. This is the island of New Zealand.
This is the island of Fiji.
(I really liked watching this one, because my sister dated a guy from Fiji for a while, and when he came home with her at Christmas time he did the dances for us. (Except he used a flip flop to perfom it then) It was so fun! So watching this reminded me of him and made me smile!)
This is the Island of Hawaii.
