Don't you love it when your kids use your very own words back on you?
Today, we were shopping in the store and I was pushing one of those ginormous carts with all three of my children in them, and all of a sudden I didn't feel very well.
I stop the cart and lean over on the edge to rest or to see if stopping for a moment would make me feel better.
"Mom doesn't feel very good right now..." (I find myself answering questions that haven't been asked when I am with my children. I think I go ahead and commentate because I know the question would come eventually? It's pretty funny.)
A few seconds later, "Whew, I do not feel good..."
Mallary was watching me closely, and then opened her sweet little mouth and said with her voice lacking any sympathy, "Well, Mom, it was your choice to come to the store..."
She then added, in case I didn't hear her, "It was your choice..."
I just look at her and didn't say anything.
I love hearing my kids use my own words against me.
