October 2010 - Mallary's Birthday

Yeah, so I'm still playing catch up...

This was Mallary's birthday, and as tradition in our family she was sick on her birthday.  It was so sad.

Jonah on the other hand was all smiles that day!

She had a fever and I tried to bribe her to take her medicine by telling her she could open one of her birthday presents early. 



It took forever for me to convince her...

She finally opened her present and played with it while laying down.  Look at her fever cheeks... 

I made Mallary a pink angel food cake (not with food coloring, but with my homemade strawberry syrup) with strawberry buttercream icing.  Weird combo I know... But it was still good.

"My mom is ghetto, she wraps gifts in cereal boxes!"

These are Dr. Seuss jammies - she was really big into The Cat and the Hat back then. 

You can tell she's still sick, but trying to be excited about her new jammies and her new princess dress up dresses.
