This was Trevan's first field trip in Kindergarten.  They walked to a fire station close to the school.

In this picture is the girl he ended up having a little crush on the second half of the school year.  She is to the right of Trevan looking at this picture.  Her name was Kaylie.  He would get all embarrassed if someone said her name.  Ah, young love... 

Right behind him over his right shoulder is his little best friend, Brody.  To quote Trevan at the beginning of the school year, "Mom, he likes Star Wars too!!!!"

My favorite part of this picture is Trevan's Transformer shirt.  Shirts like this were a big part of Kindergarten.  Forget all the cute preppy clothes I bought him, he had to wear his Star Wars and Transformer shirts that Aunt Candi bought him, because she knows I don't like them.  I've loosened up a lot, and finally let him wear them whenever he wanted (I made a deal with him then that he could choose his clothes every other day, I gave up on that half way through the year, and gave into "the force...").  It really, really bothered me when he said he wanted to dress like "the other kids."  Aaaaghhhhh!!!!! 

I was able to spend one day a week in Trevan's class room, and I really enjoyed it.
