Thanksgiving at Thanksgiving

Four years ago, at Thanksgiving dinner with John's family, we went around the table to say what we were thankful for.

That year I was thankful for a healthy body.

We were in between moves from Maryland to here, and living with my parents, and my mom wasn't doing very well. I had also just had a miscarriage the month before, and then had a brief illness that was so horribly miserable! That year, I was really thankful for a healthy body.

What does your family do at Thanksgiving to show thanks?

My sister and I have talked about how we want Thanksgiving to be more meaningful than just about stuffing ourselves until we have to loosen that top button. (Though I totally enjoy doing that...) I'd like to start my own traditions with my family, but would like to hear some ideas...

I just thought of one idea... see it HERE.

Happy Thanksgiving!

May your bellies be full of turkey (and stuffing, and taters, and gravy, and sweet potato pudding, and dessert...) and your hearts be full of thanks!

we don't really have any T-Giving traditions, but I am looking forward to starting some once I have kids.
Happy Thanksgiving!
