Good Morning Sunshine: Tuesday Tips

TIP #1: You don't need to spend money on those expensive karaoke sets - bring out your child's inner (insert your favorite singer here) with a bowling pin turned microphone.

Mallary walked around outside singing into her microphone, using my cell phone information book as her sheet music. She loves to sing!

TIP #2: It's never to early to hire a tutor for your baby! You want your baby to be smart, right?

TIP #3: Read labels carefully - Though these may be preferred by teachers, they are not preferred by me! I saw the dollar sign, but I should have been looking for the words, 'washable!'

If you look carefully, you can see my carpet was colored as well... Mallary's body and dress were covered. I caught her before she could finish 'painting' her nails and toenails.

TIP #4: Multi-task, multi-task, multi-task.

I was in the shower one night, and I realized I had forgotten to make a grocery list and my kids shower crayons were in there, so I thought I'd jot down a few things before I forgot them. You know, sometimes your best ideas come to you while showering!

TIP #5: Though they may be silly - you should invest in some silly bandz!

Mallary got hooked on silly bandz because Trevan would get them from his swim teacher. While on our marathon road trip she picked out a bag as her souvenir from a dinosaur museum, and they kept her quiet in the car for the whole rest of that days drive (four hours!). Then I just bought her some new hair ties, and she spent a lot of time putting them on her doll. She told me her doll had silly bandz on!
