Holly's Myth Busters

At first glance, I called this cow a bull. Then I noticed it had utters. Is that a myth buster for you too?

As my pregnancy progressed, I was sure we were having another girl. I wasn't sick with Trevan, and I was sick with Mallary, therefore leading me to conclude I must be having another girl because I was sick. (John also concluded that, and that is why he was so surprised when a boy came out!) It seemed like most people tended to have similar pregnancies with the same sex of baby. Not in my case. Myth buster number two.

Boys give you a harder time while in the womb. Once again, not in my case. Myth buster number three.

"I can tell you're carrying a boy, you're so low." Myth buster number four. I carried low with all three of my kids. Also, my last two were floaters. If the waistband of my pants were too tight, they'd scoot a little higher inside me, if not, they'd stretch out. In one day, I could get multiple, "Oh, you've dropped" comments and "You're carrying so high" comments.

I always thought my pregnancies would be relatively the same. Or, at least the same with the same sex of baby. I was wrong.

Luckily, I only bought a "few" baby girl items before I found out that we were having a boy...
