I think I had mentioned that I had been looking for a fun pair of rain boots for quite some time now. We had such a rainy winter, and I hated it when the hem of my pants got soaked from walking in and out of stores in the rain. I was determined to find some boots.
Well, I ordered some online, paid a lot of money, and decided I didn't like them that much. Then, even better, I found a pair at Ross for $16! I won't even mention how much I paid for the other ones. So I sent the expensive ones back, and now I have a pair of rain boots.
Well, guess how many times I have been able to wear them? Not once! Not only is it not as rainy, but I guess I haven't been out during the rain since I have got them. (Marianne, I keep forgetting to tell you - remember my room smelled like skunk? It's the rain boots, the new rubber smell...) So, moral of the story, get rain boots it won't rain as much...
Anyway, I wanted everyone to have some rain boots too. I went shopping one Saturday morning and came home with some rain boots for Mallary. She wanted to put them on right then, and played in them all day in the sunshine. She even wore them a couple of times when we went shopping in the sunshine. It was so funny, I had to get a picture that day, but these were the best I could get.
I have since bought rain boots for Trevan. Lucky for me, they didn't have the Iron Man, and Transformer ones (the ones he would have rather had) in his size. I'm such a mean mom. Now, I just need to find some for John. I bet he would like some Transformer ones too...
