Tuesday Tips

You learn to choose your battles as a mother. Your children may be making a mess, but sometimes the mess is worth the half an hour of peace and quiet, and the few minutes it will take to clean it up later (or in my house on many occasions, your husband will clean it up later...). Which brings me to a new addition to my Tuesday Tips - Sanity Savers.

Sanity Saver Tip of the Day:
Need a few minutes of peace and quiet?
Let your child loose with a pile of post it notes!

Mallary found some Post It notes in a drawer and went to town, and that day, I was too tired to care. After she had started, I even laid down on the couch to rest, and she was so occupied I was able to take a twenty minute nap! I woke up to find my blanket covered with Post Its, and I was so out of it, I didn't even know she was doing it.

So, if you need a few minutes of sanity today (i.e. peace and quiet), Post Its may be a good investment...
