I remember writing long lists to Santa at Christmas time when I was a child. I would browse that huge JC Penny Catalog and dog ear anything I was interested in. Let's just say there were a lot of dog eared pages. I don't think I ever even got any of those things I dog eared... a lot of good that did.
A few years ago, or was it just last year (?), my in-laws wrapped a present to us in the mailbox below, and we decided to use it to start a new Christmas tradition.
Last year, Trevan wrote his letter to Santa and we stuck it in this mailbox, with the flag up, of course. Then, on Christmas morning we checked the mailbox, and Santa had taken his letter!!!
This year, John changed up our new tradition. On Monday night, John had Trevan write his letter to Santa to stick in the mailbox for Santa's Elves to pick up. The mailbox was empty on Tuesday, so the Elves must be doing their job. I heard that Santa stores all the kids letters in a file cabinet, so that the kids can read their letters one day.
This is Trevan's letter to Santa this year. He only asked for 5 items, and even numbered them so nice and neat. The only one's you may have issues reading is number 4 - he asked for a Big Zurg, and number 5 - he asked for cereal from the north (norf) pole.
I hope Santa can deliver on that cereal...
