John survived yet another year, in more ways than one. This year, he thankfully made it through a few rounds of lay offs at his company. He's doing really fantastic at his job, and I'm really proud of him.
He survived with the kids alone, while I went on a few trips by myself. My last trip, he finally made a comment that I replied to, "I'm sorry, Honey. You can go on the next trip by yourself, and I'll stay home and watch the kids." To which he responded, "How about we go on a trip together without the kids?" We'll try and arrange that for 2010.
John survived another year of being my "empoloyee." He "loves" spending late nights with me cutting, and sealing ribbon. I'm sure he's underpaid.
He also survived another year being married to me. It's a tough job sometimes, I'm sure.
John even survived hitting a dear recently, and even managed to allow the dear to only mess up a small portion of the car.
He even survived a year of only buying a few games. That, in and of itself, is quite a miracle.
John also survived another year of not having cable, and being able to get his fill of ESPN.
He really is a saint, and I'm sure he'll survive 2010 with greatness as well, and that's one reason why I love him so much.

I have just had the best 20 min of my week!!! I have been catching up on your blog and have been loving every min! You guys are so cute and look like you are having a good time, with life in general! I know I speak for Ben as well as myself when I say, we miss you. I wish we lived closer.
