Family Picture Christmas Tradition

Every Christmas, we try to take a family picture. You know, for the Christmas cards we haven't sent out for a few years... Taking a family picture is not an easy task. Getting my kids to sit still, to smile a normal smile, to keep their clothes on and their hair unmessed up, etc., etc.

I saw this in the Parenting magazine and thought it was appropriate to share - What you don't see on the Christmas card:

That's how I feel sometimes. Here are this year's attempts taken at John's brother's house.

We always have to try and keep Mallary's hands out of her face,

to get Trevan to smile a normal, non evil looking smile,

to get a smile out of Mallary at all,

and to get them to hold still.

We did our best...

Pretend reading this post was like going to your mailbox and getting our Christmas card.

Merry Christmas!
