He keeps us laughing

Okay, so this picture is old, but Trevan's so cute how can I resist?

So, all the little kids sang in church yesterday. Trevan is in the front row, everyone is singing, Trevan really doesn't know the words, or if he does, he isn't singing them, and all of a sudden his hand comes up to the pocket in his shirt.

"Uh oh," I thought. He started digging for something. I could just picture him pulling out a ninja turtle or something and start playing with it up there for everyone to watch. His hand finally stopped squirming and just hung out in his shirt pocket, elbow up in the air, for the remaining of the song, as if it was the most natural position for his hand to be. Yes, that's my son.

After church, John is changing Mallary's diaper, and I overhear this from the other room.

"Dad, I want to see her wenis," Trevan asks. (You know that's what Trevan calls it right? A combination of the real word I use, and the word wienie that John wants him to use.)

"She doesn't have a wenis, only boys do," John replies.

"What do girls have?" Trevan asks innocently.

"Go ask your mother," John says.

"Mom, what do girls have?"

"Privates."

"Oh, I knew that, privates."

That's so funny! One day I was babysitting a little baby boy and I was changing his diaper. Carmen was watching and said, "that thing...in the middle...looks like a HOT DOG!". I burst into laughter! Kids say the funniest things.
