1. Found some fun materials to make some new products for my store. That is always fun!
2. Found this great hair elastics and holder set at Walmart. How brilliant is that? It was like two bucks or something. What a great idea! I guess if you want to make your own you could use any of those pill containers (days of the week thingys), or those craft boxes that have all the dividers too. These hair elastics work the best, and don't pull your hair out. These are the little ones that are perfect for Mallary's hair. So fun!

3. I found some fun new music yesterday. (Side Story: I have always loved listening to music, but I rarely do anymore except when I am in the car, and sometimes when I am working on the computer. But, when I am in the car with my kids, I can't really talk to them if the music is on, or Trevan wants to listen to "his" music. Then, when I am in the car by myself, I just want to enjoy some peace and quiet and have time to think. I don't even have an ipod, even my 60 year old father uses for gadgets than I do. The only time I would listen to one is when I would run or something. When I was a kid, I used to lay by the "boom box" waiting to hear a song I like on the radio, and hurry and push record. The old school mixed tapes, you know? I used to do that for hours in the summers. When I was younger, I even stood in front of the television watching Elvis Blue Hawaii, or other musicals waiting for the songs to start and hurrying to push record. Anyway, I love music.) So, this song was on my friend's website, and I googled the lyrics, and found the artist. I'm probably so far behind, but her name is Ingrid Michaelson, you can check her out here. I really love her voice and her music. I sat here and listened to all the music on that site last night over and over instead of being productive. I may be headed to Target today to buy a cd, if they have it... I really like the song, The Way I Am, the video of it is the bottom right video that you can watch. That song has been added to my playlist for John and I's 15th Wedding Anniversary Destination Celebration. We'll mail our save the date cards on our 10th anniversary...
Anyway, just a few things that added a bounce to my step yesterday.
Hope lots of things add a bounce or two to your step today!

yes, you are behind the music times. You should have asked, i've been listening to ingrid m. for years! I will compile a list of good music for you. :)
I know, I really am so far behind. Even Cheryl told me yesterday she had heard her music before. I remember you are like Becky discovering new music. I remember you guys listening to Jack Johnson before he was on the radio. She is always listening to people I have never heard of.
So, yeah, I'll take some music suggestions. Ingrid M. is a good example of the kind of music I like. Back in the day I was totally a Natalie Merchant person and she kind of reminds me of her style.
I'm really behind on the music thing too! I totally remember making my own tapes. Ryan actually bought me an MP3 player for my birthday almost 2 years ago but I haven't quite figured out how to use it. I've pretty much given up!
I love Ingrid Michaelson. I should burn some CD's for ya!
