Borderline

Yesterday, Trevan had his well check up.

Trevan's BMI (body mass index) is BORDERLINE.

The Doctor starts talking about cutting out an extra cookie, etc. etc.

I'm like, "Wait, I'm sorry, are you telling me he's overweight?"

He's borderline.

My son? Borderline?

The one who barely eats? Who I have to buy slim fit jeans for, and tighten all of the waists on his pants? Really?

THEN, the Doctor asks Trevan what his favorite foods are.

Trevan responds quickly, "chicken nuggets and french fries!"

Great...

I was like, "How about your favorite food mommy cooks, because we don't have chicken nuggets very much."

Trevan again responds quickly, "Fish sticks!"

We have fish sticks a few times a year, and that's what he answers. Of course.

I'm sure the Doctor's thinking, 'no wonder he's BORDERLINE.'

Ha ha, that is so funny! Kids always give the "wrong" answers! It's happened to me many times at the doctor/school.

Maybe they measured his height wrong (like he slouched), and so that would make his BMI seem a little high?

That is hilarious about Trevan's responses! They must have measured him incorrectly because he is not big at all!
