The start of 2011 and Jonah's kisses

So, all my pictures from November 2010 to the beginning of February were deleted somehow, and this is where our lives pick back up again.

As I went through the pictures so far, it looks like this is the year of pictures of Jonah, and Mallary looking homeless... You'll see what I mean in upcoming posts.

We loved Jonah's big kisses!

I wish I was more like my mother.

She was a ray of sunshine; always smiling, so positive, encouraging, and constantly serving others. She was an angel with a heart of gold.

My mom would call me "Sunshine" to emphasize the fact that I wasn't so cheery. She often said, "Good Morning Sunshine," just to be facetious. Once, in a letter to me, she wrote, "on a good day, you are a ray of sunshine."

So, witness my efforts to become more like my mother as I try to focus on the positive, and serve others more. I want her legacy of love to live on in me.

Many women are afraid of becoming like their mother; I'm afraid I won't.
