You would think I would have read more having been on vacation and being sick on the couch, but I got tired of the so so books I read last month and wasn't up to just reading any book unless someone recommended it...
1. The Noticer by Andy Andrews - This is a good, uplifting read. But, I had to put it down in the middle of it because it was almost too self - helpy for me, if you know what I mean... Also, it had some of the same stuff in it as The Love Language Books, and I was like okay, which author stole these ideas from the other one? So, that kind of bothered me. But interesting, and a nice message about changing our perspective.
2. Secret Daugter by Shilpi Somaya Gowda - I LOVED this book! Very good read, good story. Totally recommend it!!!
3. Heaven Is Here by Stephanie Nielsen - Someone lent this to my niece, and so I read it when she was done with it since I didn't have any other book to read. I found myself skimming parts of it, and my niece said she did the same thing too. People said they just sobbed through this book, but I didn't. If you read her blog, parts of this book you've already heard some of it, so maybe that's why I didn't cry? I mean, I am pretty emotional right now, but no tears. Definitely a good message though.
