2. Now You See Her by James Patterson, I love a good mystery, and I love his mysteries but he uses too much foul language in his writing, so I don't think I'll be reading any more of his books.
3. Death Comes to Pemberley by P.D. James, A novel including all the Pride and Prejudice characters six years down the road from the end of Pride and Prejudice. Also a mystery. I loved catching up with Mr. Darcy and all the other characters. Good read.
Here's the books I have to read for April (I don't know if I'll be reading them all, but this is what I've checked out to read):
1. I Totally Meant to do that by Jane Borden
2. Let's take the long way home: a memoir of friendship by Gail Caldwell
3. State of Wonder by Ann Patchett
4. Radical: Taking back your faith from the American Dream by David Platt
5. If you ask, and of course you won't by Betty White
6. The Truth about Grief: the myth of its five stages and the new science of loss by Ruth Davis Konigsburg (my inner social science nerd found the title very intriguing.)

i loved State of Wonder by Ann Patchett. Keep in mind that nearly all her books have a random sort of hookup between characters near the end. This one is no different, but probably one of my favorites. Extremely interesting and definitely better than the Magician's Assistant.
holly, i keep up with your blog through google reader but my work blocks it so i'm never able to comment.
I wanted to say I also read state of wonder. I thought it was good. But about 3/4 of the way in I thought it was getting a little long for me. A little too many details. Made me want to visit Brazil though.
However, after reading this book I didn't want to read any more by this author. But that's just my opinion. Jen loved it. But it's always good to hear from different people. Anyway, let us know what you think when you're done! :)
