Tuesday Tips

Here are some money saving tips just for you!

TIP #1:  Instead of buying new toys, just buy a pack of paper plates.  They are a highly coveted item from my pantry!

TIP #2:  Why do we buy chairs?  It's so much more fun to sit on the table...

TIP #3:  Seriously, no need for new toys... Just show your children where you keep your kitchen towels, and they'll stay busy for days!

TIP #4:  Why do we buy Barbies?  A piece of string can keep your child occupied all day - the possibilities are endless!
Not even kidding, my kids fight over string...
TIP #5:  Buy new batteries!  (On sale or with a coupon, of course)  It makes your child feel like they have brand new toys once you get those new batteries in them!
The best thing I did this day was to put batteries in the Zhu zhu pets from last Christmas... the kids loved it!
TIP #6:  Don't waste your money on those pretend dishes when your kids could just use the real thing!
These two items are Jonah's favorite toys.  A small stainless steel bowl and a tiny whisk keeps him busy for hours!
TIP #7:  No need to waste your money on buying spoons plus you won't have to wash them after meal time!
My children teach me so much about saving money...

Ditto on the string, or anything string-like (ties, belts, garden hose, rope, ribbon).
