Tuesday Tips

TIE DYE TIPS

STEP 1: Gather supplies

Supplies:
1 white shirt
1 rainstorm
1 muddy yard

STEP 2: Dye it up!

Kick, splash, jump, dip, shake - whatever it takes to get the color and pattern you desire!

You don't need rubberbands! You can just use your feet and hands!

Don't forget the back side!

Don't forget to ask for help to get the look you want to achieve!
When you are happy with your color and pattern...

Step 3: Wash your shirt to preserve the color longer.

Step 4: If you don't like how your color turned out - add your clothing to the rag pile! That's exactly where Mallary's shirt is today...

***Another Tuesday Tip for you: Advise your husband that white shirts are not for playing in the mud...

oh, that is funny :). They must have had a BLAST! Were you there watching the mayhem?

No, I was inside holding Jonah, really not aware of what was going on. When my sister in law said they were muddy, I imagined a little bit of mud on their shoes, nothing like this!!! I didn't even see them muddy until I downloaded these pictures. I saw them after John had hosed them off and they came inside naked! Now I know why! :)

That's great! I only let mine do that about once a year. We don't have much mud, though. Good thing he hosed them down before letting them back in!
