Stop me if I have.
Or, stop reading...
(My brain is mush lately and I feel like I'm repeating stories to everyone...)
A while back, I was having a bad morning with the kids. I called John at work to let off a little steam. I told him he was lucky that he got to leave the chaos for the day, and only be home for a few hours before they go to bed. He just laughed and said, "but aren't you wired for that kind of thing?" Saying I was wired to be the nurturer so I should be able to handle it.
Yes. I am wired to handle chaos, diapers, tantrums, time outs and messes;
I am Super Woman.
And sometimes...
super crazy.

is anyone really WIRED to do that stuff? I think the only reason you can handle it better than John might is because you HAVE to. I think every year the husbands/fathers should switch places with their wives for a week. the wives will go into work and push paper around and the husbands will deal with daughter's throwing bowls of food on a newly cleaned floor. :)
isn't john funny?
