Ever since John and I got married, he has wanted to do a Christmas sweater picture to mail out with a Christmas card. I always said, "No way."
Three years ago, I caved. You may ask, "What made Holly decide to do such a thing?" One day I pictured my kids bringing their new spouse into our family, and me handing my son or daughter in law an ugly, I mean festive, Christmas sweater, and saying, "Welcome to the family!" That thought still makes me laugh.
So, every year, I have to hunt for Christmas sweaters, and John's are the hardest. Some of you know the story of him coming home three years ago with his first Christmas sweater for $130. A little insane, but men's Christmas sweaters are REALLY expensive. I got this years on Ebay, brand new, for $25, but I only have to pay dollars for the ones I find for me and the kids.
This year, my sweater gets the festive award, for sure!

After we took this picture, we had to go run some errands.
"Where are you going?" John asked.
"Inside to change my shirt." I respond.
"No, you have to wear that sweater out." He said.
"You must be crazy," and I went and changed my shirt.
My husband wore his sweater that night as we delivered Christmas goodies, and shopped.
I have to admit, that while we were in Target, I walked a few paces behind him...

John's really isn't that bad. But yeah, yours is about the worst I've ever seen! Soooo funny!
OMG you have a picture in that sweater? LAME.
Oh, and you want really "festive"? Cross "teacher" sweaters with Christmas sweaters. It's pretty scary. I had colleagues, usually of a certain age, who would wear them the whole month of December.
