Tip #1: Push Record
This is a very mild showing of her screaming. Trust me. She wanted more fruit snacks, and she already had two packs, and I said, "no more." She stood there and cried forever, this video is at the end of it. While she was screaming, I remembered me asking my mom to tell me what I was like when I was a baby, and she couldn't tell me much. At that moment I looked over and saw the camera, picked it up, and pushed record. When Mallary asks me what she was like, I can show her... That thought alone kept me smiling (instead of losing my mind) in my head while recording this.
Tip #2: Push Play
My mom always said when you're kids are acting up, stop what you are doing and play with them, they just want attention. This day (also the same day as the above video) was a little trying, I remembered her saying that and pushed play on the stereo to have a dance party to my new CD. It made me feel better, and made my children do something other than scream and demand stuff from me.
Tuesday Tip: To help keep your sanity just push some buttons of your own...
